Tribute to Bramwell Tovey

The Brass Band Summer School was devastated to learn of the passing of our dear friend and President, Bramwell Tovey. Maestro Tovey impacted several generations across multiple continents through his music making, conducting and teaching; his love of brass bands was no secret and his warm personality, clever wit and superb musicianship will be missed by many. Here is a tribute, courtesy of Brass Band World magazine, from BBSS Director and euphonium tutor, David Childs.
