Concert details released for BBSS 2025

This year’s Brass Band Summer School, taking place from 3-9 August 2025 at Harrogate Ladies’ College, will culminate in a Brass Spectacular Finale Gala Concert on 8 August at St Wilfrid’s Church, directed by Dr Robert Childs and featuring guest trombone soloist, Rebecca Lundberg.
 
The concert will feature a wide array of music from traditional marches, overtures and hymn tunes, to contemporary originals from the likes of Sir Karl Jenkins, Philip Sparke and Edward Gregson.

In addition, Fairey Band's star principal trombonist, Rebecca Lundberg, will feature as guest soloist in Simon Wood's beautiful setting of Blessed Assurance and Stefan Schwalgin's up-beat arrangement of What about Feeling Good.
